How Long Does Botox Treatment Take?

Botox can be administered in as little as 15 minutes. You’ll discuss your cosmetic goals with our experienced injectors and create a sensible, personalized treatment plan. Once you’re ready, the product is placed in the muscles with a very fine needle, after which you can return home.

Botox Aftercare

Botox can take up to two weeks to show final results. We recommend the following aftercare steps for best results with Botox:

Avoid hot environments like saunas, hot showers, or hot tubs
Avoid exercising or elevating your heart rate for 24 hours
Avoid laying down or bending over for four hours
Avoid taking blood-thinning medications like ibuprofen
Avoid massaging or rubbing the area for four hours
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours

Additionally, make sure to exercise the injected muscles for the first 30 minutes after treatment. This helps the product take hold. You may have some redness, but you can cover it with makeup if needed. Botox can last for 3-4 months, at which point you can return for a touch-up.
