How Long Does VI Peel Treatment Take?

A VI Peel can take about 30 minutes. To begin, you’ll discuss your skin goals with our experts and determine the right approach. The VI Peel works best as a package of treatments, so you’ll get an honest, professional opinion about what kind of results you can expect. Once you’re ready, your skincare expert will cleanse your skin and remove any makeup, dirt, or oil. Then, the solution will be applied in two layers. The first layer can cause some numbness or tingling but does not hurt. The second layer will cause the skin to “frost” or turn white. The peel will be left on for the next 4-6 hours as you return home and go about your day.

VI Peel Aftercare

It can take 2-3 days for the skin to begin peeling after a VI Peel. We recommend the following aftercare steps for best results:

• Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and water 4-6 hours after your treatment
• Avoid applying moisturizers or cosmetics until you wash the peel off
• Apply the Post Peel Protectant 2-4 times per day
• Apply moisturizer regularly until the skin finishes peeling
• Avoid sunlight and apply SPF 30+ daily to prevent pigmentation
• Avoid picking, rubbing, or exfoliating the skin until it finishes peeling

Once your skin finishes peeling, you’ll see noticeable improvement in your skin’s tone and luminosity. Results typically last for 3-4 weeks – you can return for additional treatments monthly to maintain your results and fully treat your skin concerns.
